Christmas cookies...

Christmas season is at it's height!
Cookies - a great gift for the whole family!

Moon light...

Red, green and white - traditional Christmas colors.
But today I won't have any of green or red ...

Home for the Holidays....

A group of cookiers got together and decided to do a
"Home For The Holidays" with this huge 5 x 9 cookie cutter.

Christmas Village Collaboration:
With everyone using the same cookie cutter
create your take on a Christmas homefront
(front facade only)
In whatever dough floats your boat.

It was a great idea to organize such a beautiful project!
Thanks to Angela  for making a beautiful collage!

Christmas cookies...

Everyone knows that Santa loves cookies.
But often he has to eat too much of it! :)
Today I'll show you a fun set of cookies with Santa's bellies.
I'm sure many will like it a lot.

Mini Christmas cookies for tree decoration..

I made these mini cookies a couple of weeks ago.
It is a good idea to make ornaments for the Christmas tree together with children.
And it is not necessary to use a multi-colored royal icing.

Christmas tree cookies...And polish-glaze recipe..

This is my old post from 2012...
Of course you can still use this recipe and instructions,
but I changed the recipe a little bit...
now its work perfect and you don't need even to bake.
Cookies with my glaze are more shiny and dry up in minutes.
Here is my class about Mirrow (Polish) Glaze.
https://nadiamlb.com/classes/polish-glaze-online-class-1

Today I will share with you a very simple glaze recipe.
Most of you who have dealt with baking breads, pies and buns,
certainly used the yolk or just beaten egg for lubrication products
before you put them in the oven.
It gave luster and a yammy look to the pastry.

...................Christmas cookie card project...............

A few weeks ago I got an email from Haniela with an offer
to participate in the project "Christmas card".
At first I was so happy - it's my favorite topic - Christmas!
And I have a special relationship with cards.
I'll let you in on a little secret - handmade greeting cards is another hobby of mine. However, I got so fascinated by the cookies last year,
that unfortunately, there is no time for the cards anymore.
And here is this opportunity - to create a Christmas cookie card!
Every day there came new ideas in my head and I could not choose one of them.
And then as often happens, came Pinterest to help me!
I saw a Santa treat box, which I was eager to repeat,
but to make it out of the cookie :)
Here's what I got.

Christmas tree mini button cookies :)

Make a Christmas tree out of the small button cookies.

I am sure you will impress your guests.

Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas cookie set

In this set I used traditional Christmas colors...

I liked to make the doors with the wreath and Christmas trees in a new design...

I've been asked often about a recipe for cookies.

I use different recipes, but some of those I use more often.

This one I like because of it's taste,

but very often during baking the dough changes it's form.

Therefore, I reduce the amount of baking powder

and add a little more flour.

The recipe given here is original (without my changes).

Christmas cookie set

I love the mini cookies!

In this set is a large Christmas tree 7x5 inch

and a lot of little ornaments.

Christmas cookie set

Today I finished this cookie set.

Purple is my favorite color

and I always loved to look

at the mountain ash dusted with snow.

I had like this one when I was a child :)

Holiday dress cookies

Today I made a lot of Christmas cookies.

But, I want to show these dress cookies in the first place.

I used Wilton sweet paper not the first time for my cookies

and I really like the result!

Dresses shine very nisely, but on the picture is almost invisible.

Melted snowman cookies

Wanted to make these snowmen long time ago.

And today I had such opportunity!

I love this idea!

Family cookies

These chocolate cookies with royal icing

decorations are perfect Christmas gift for  family with children :)

Christmas cookie set #3...White..

I love the purity and elegance of a white.

These cookies remind me of fluffy and sparkling snow :)

Christmas cookie set #2...Red, White &Blue

Another set of Christmas cookies.

The most traditional Christmas colors - red, white and green.

But I love the combination of red, white and blue.

It seems to me that this cookies also looks festive and bright.
