Lace heart cookies
And once again lace...
I've been asked quite a lot how much time does it take me to decorate one cookie.
I can't give the exact answer.
Because, first of all I never look at the time,
while decorating and secondly I am decorating few cookies at the same time.
For that I use my turntable, spinning it and adding new detail to each cookie.
These cookies are perfect for the bridal shower
as well as a gift for a woman,
who is in love with lace like I am :)
Wedding cookies..
These are chocolate cookies decorated with glaze and royal icing.
All recipes can be found here.
My only addition - I added a couple teaspoons of cocoa in the glaze to get the chocolate taste.
Wedding cookies...Sweet Napkin Holders
This idea is perfect for the wedding table.
Guests will be pleasantly surprised by such a delicious little gifts!
I made chocolate cookies and decorated them with glaze and royal icing.
In order to keep napkins clean with no stains from the cookies,
it is necessary to cover the surface of the cutouts with royal icing.
Wedding gift cookies
I'm not sure that in future I want to do something similar.
These cookies are very fragile and delicate ..
Rather, the web within the heart.
But if you do, though, and decide to decorate your cookies this way
you will be guaranteed success!
That person who you give this gift will never eat it. Lol.
You all know how I love lace!
On this pic you can very well see the detail.
I used this Royal Icing with Meringue Powder recipe.
White on white.. (and sugar cookie recipe)
I am sure, that everyone likes white color!
White symbolizes purity.
White cookies are more elegant and romantic.
These I decorated with Royal icing using #1 and #59 tip.
Many people ask me what sugar cookies recipe I use most often.
I love this recipe, not only because of taste, softness of cookies,
but for the fact, that the dough doesn't spread during the baking.
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour,
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar,
pinch of salt,
pinch of salt,
1 large egg
1 teaspoon good quality vanilla extract
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and baking powder and set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, using the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 3 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla and beat another minute or so.
- Add the flour mixture slowly.
(Be careful not to add too much at a time or you will have a snowstorm of flour.)
- Blend until all of the flour is incorporated and the dough begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- Take the dough out of the bowl and place it on a piece of parchment paper.
- Using your hands, knead the dough a few times.
- Place the dough in a large plastic (ziplock type) bag and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
- When it's almost time to remove the dough from the refrigerator,
preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
Wedding dress cookie
When I was a kid, I loved to draw dresses ...
Very often I drew dresses of princesses and dreamed
that I would have a dress like this ...
Now I dream that one day my daughter at her wedding
will be dressed like a princess!
This dress does not look like princess dress,
it is more modern and simple .. but I love this design.
For ruffles I used #97 tip (rose)..

My recipe for royal icing...
1 egg white
3 cups powdered sugar
3-5 drops (or more) of lemon juice
1 / 4 teaspoon cream of tartar
almond extract if desired
While rubbing in egg white, gradually add sugar (do not beat egg whites). At the end put cream of tartar, lemon juice and essence. Consistency should not be too thick, but not liquid.

I continue to practice with my royal icing.

So I put them in almost all of my last cookies.
